The Francis Family of Anegada operates private horse riding tours on an isolated beach. We offer 2 types.of rides Short rides and long rides. Long rides are available at sunrise and sunset only.
Sunrise Rides: Start the day with an invigorating Sunrise ride east of our compound along the beach. Ride into the sun along Walk Over Set Bay to Cow Wreck beach and back to Walk Over Set bay. This ride is 3 miles long and about 1hr depending on the rider’s skill.
Sunset Rides: our most requested ride. Also 3 miles long, this ride takes you to Cow Wreck Beach and back. Watch as the waters are clothed with the colours of the soon setting sun on this long ride. Gorgeous hues of orange and red. A glorious end to the day.
Short rides: Trying horseback riding for the first time or just wanting a quick thrill? Take a short ride along Walk Over Set Bay. Short rides are available on mornings (between 8am and 11am) and afternoons (between 2pm and 4pm). This ride is about 3/4 of a mile long and takes about 30 mins depending on the rider’s skill. Enjoy the warm Caribbean sun as you take a gentle stroll on horseback on our beautiful and deserted sandy beach.
Swim Horse: Up the Ante with a water ride for an additional cost. Select our Swim Horse Option and experience Anegada’s shallow blue waters in a novel way. Ride on your horse as he swims in the beautiful waters. Warning: Be prepared to get wet!
Full Moon: Looking for something exclusive and romantic? Then try our Full Moon Ride and Dine feature! Available to ONLY 1 couple and ONLY on full moon nights. Every full moon night only one privileged couple will have the opportunity of a lifetime. An isolated beach on the island of Anegada is transformed into a private outdoor dinning area where two diners are treated to an exquisite 3 course meal complete with a complimentary bottle of wine or cider. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing and romantic beach ride on horse back. Ride with the Moon!
